Bring years of old reports into ValueApps. Point it at a folder or drive. It finds each record, joins the matrix, photos and title to the right report, converts old Word and Excel files, and uploads them. Nothing is read on upload; records are read overnight and you approve them on the Imports page.

Install in three steps
On a Mac

Open the .dmg file
It’s in your Downloads folder.

Drag ValueApps Import to Applications
Then eject the disk image.

Open it and sign in
Use your ValueApps email and password. You stay signed in for 90 days.
If your Mac says it can’t check the developerOpen System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
On Windows

Run the setup file
ValueApps-Import-1.6.0-setup.exe, in your Downloads folder.

Follow the four steps
Keep “Start at log-on” ticked if you want a folder watched.

Open it and sign in
Find it in the Start menu, or tick “Launch” on the last step.
If Windows says it protected your PCChoose More info, then Run anyway.

Check the download
Compare the SHA-256 below with your file. Until the apps are signed, your Mac or PC may say it can’t check the developer: on a Mac, open System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway; on Windows, choose More info › Run anyway.

Before you download
Do the tools cost anything?
No. They come with every ValueApps plan.
Who can use ValueApps Import?
Anyone whose ValueApps account can import records. Your records go to your own institution. ValueApps staff can choose an institution.
Does it change my files?
No. Old files are converted into a copy on your computer. The originals stay as they are.
What if my laptop goes offline halfway?
The upload pauses and carries on by itself when the internet is back.
When are the records read?
Overnight. Next morning you check and approve them on the Imports page.
